Zzzzzzz...

I WISH!! I SO want to sleep... I REALLY DO!!! But I just can't!
What's going ON?!?!
This is miserable. For 4 nights straight now, I jsut can't sleep! Even to the point where I was sick yesterday and yet NOTHING! I'd go back to bed and STILL just toss and turn. You KNOW it's bad when you sit at work, just daydreaming about sleeping...
Anybody got some "home remedies" for sleep? I am SO not wanting to take anything like Tylenol PM to make me drowsy, but maybe some sort of tea, or something... any ideas?

'Cause something's gotta give.... and so far it looks like it will be my Sanity that gives way, rather then my lack of sleep!

Well...I've faced those EXACT same issues before...and here's what can help me...and okay, it may sound weird and if you dont like it then ya don't lol...but warm milk...just put it in the microwave for a few minutes, make it warm..not too hot...and drink it...if you wanna spice it up a bit put some vanilla extract in it... the hormones in milk when warmed release tryptophan which makes us sleepy and relaxed...one more thing, no watching tv IN bed...or playing a lot on the computer before bed...that's always my biggest downfall...even Dr. Oz on Oprah talks about this one...out brains become so stimulated and we don't even realize it...but then it's like when it's time to go to sleep we can't because our brains are still fluttering about...

anywho, there you go! haha....and thanks for your comment on my last post! :) :) :) :)

*Best Sleep Tips*
1. Hard physical labor during your day - a yard project or 45 min. of intense exercise where you really break a dripping sweat...(have a rip-roaring date w/ your hubby)

2. Write a "paper list" of what's in your head (no computer)...[Basically, put your mind at ease on paper]

3. Pray~release your anxieties, lay them down at Your Father's feet. [Cast all your fear & anxiety on Him for He cares for you. I Peter 5:7, Phil. 4:6]

4. Eat turkey...L-tryptophan is a great natural sleep enhancer [think~napping after Thanksgiving Dinner]

*Hope these help you meet the Sandman tonite...

~Blessings to you & your new man of your dreams,

P.S. "If you're worried & you can't sleep, Count your blessings instead of sheep....and you'll fall asleep...counting your blessings." ~Bing Crosby to Rosemary Clooney, [*White Christmas-rent & watch w/ your guy & celebrate Christmas in July]
*ENJOY YOUR LIFE, BE his best friend, be his cheerleader & coach, encourage him to dream...Be pure & holy (set apart) and Serve Him.
